001 : RUA

02/11/2016 : Trip to the annual Royal Ulster Academy exhibition at Ulster Museum Belfast.

Ever since annual school art trips one thing I always look forward to every year is the RUA. The Royal Ulster Academy are basically an established bunch of practicing visual artists in Northern Ireland. What is so exciting about this exhibition is the variety of work ranging across all mediums.

My favourite piece from this year was definately Victoria Bentham's ceramic work. The piece [Ipsa parum olla] consisted of an arrangement of minature pots, each with a different pattern and style.
